David Bust Candle | Gray

Our Bois scented David bust candle is inspired by Michelangelo's David statue, which has become one of the most recognized works of Renaissance sculpture. A symbol of strength and youthful beauty, and considered one of Michelangelo's greatest masterpieces. 

'The David' is an exquisite example of his knowledge of anatomy - can be seen in David's musculature, his strength emphasized through the classical contrapposto stance, with weight shifting onto his right leg. 

A sense of naturalism is conveyed in the way the body stands determined, a confident glare on the young mans face. Because David is a symbol of strength and youthful beauty, we could only call our male bust candle by his name. 

Bois scent: Bois is a fresh, herbal accord of eucalyptus and spices, leading into a heart of clove, floral, magnolia and nutmeg. Woody base notes include cedar wood, musk and mosses.
